Eligibility Rules of CSD Canteen 2025: The primary categories of products available at the CSD canteen are AFD and Non-AFD items. Non-AFD products are acquired directly from URC canteens. AFD (Against Firm Demand) items require pre-booking through the CSD AFD online portal, after which customers can collect the products from the designated dealer. The eligibility requirements for purchasing vehicles such as cars, bikes, scooters, as well as other household goods, are established by the CSD and are subject to periodic revisions. This document outlines the most recent criteria applicable to all CSD customers.

Eligibility Criteria for Bike and Scooter in CSD Canteen 2025
All CSD Smart Card holder are eligible to buy two wheeler (bike and scooter) in CSD canteen. However, there will be a periodicity restriction to buy a bike or scooter that gap between one purchase to another purchase is four years. At a time any one of AFD item is allowed to purchase, that is you have to buy bike or scooter or any one of white goods.

Eligibility Criteria for White Goods in CSD Canteen 2025
The term “White Goods” in the context of the Canteen Stores Department (CSD) refers to household appliances such as washing machines, refrigerators, televisions, and air conditioners. There will be a restriction on the purchase of these products through the CSD AFD online portal for registered customers.

CSD Smart Card Limit and Quota 2025
CSD Smart Card holders are permitted to acquire groceries and liquor from any URC canteen.
All CSD beneficiaries are allowed to purchase a two-month supply of groceries and liquor within a single month.
The annual renewal of CSD Smart Cards has been ceased for Defence Personnel, Ex-Servicemen, and defence civilians.
The annual limit for AFD-II category items for dependent cards is set at Rs. 20,000, with each of the two dependent cards allowed Rs. 10,000, and a liquor card permitted Rs. 20,000.
