CSD AFD Portal New Registration 2025: A one-time registration is mandatory to access the CSD AFD portal. The Canteen Stores Department (CSD) has recently launched the online sale of AFD-I items and established a shopping website for both serving and retired Defence Personnel. All holders of CSD smart cards are eligible to register on this portal by following a few straightforward steps. Once the application is approved by the CSD AFD Team, beneficiaries will gain access to the portal.

Step-1: Open the official CSD AFD online portal by visiting the direct link afd.csdindia.gov.in.
Step 2: Upon reaching the Home Page of the AFD Portal, select the ‘Shop Now‘ button. A new window will appear prompting you to accept the updated terms and conditions. Click the ‘Accept‘ button to proceed.
Step 3: You will then be redirected to the Login page. At the bottom of the Login box, click on the link labeled ‘New User Registrations‘. This action will take you to a new webpage containing the online application form for New Registration.
Step 4: Prior to completing the application form, ensure you have all necessary documents ready, including your Grocery card (URC canteen smart card), PAN card, and mobile phone number for OTP verification. Carefully enter all required personal, banking, and service information, and upload your passport-sized photograph along with scanned copies of your service documents.
- Name: As displayed on the front of the grocery canteen card
- Card ID: A 19-digit alphanumeric code printed on the front of the grocery card
- Employment Status: Active or Retired
- Chip Number: The 16-digit numeric code located on the back of the canteen card or printed on the grocery receipt
- Select Organization: Army, Navy, Air Force, Assam Rifles, Coast Guard, GREF, Defence Civilians, and Other Uniformed Services
- Enter Your Date of Birth
- Date of Enrollment or Commissioning: The date you joined the service
- Date of Retirement
- Entitlement Category: CSD Beneficiary Pay Levels 10 to 18, CSD Beneficiary Pay Levels 6 to 9, CSD Beneficiary Pay Levels 1 to 5
- Select Pay Level
- Enter Your PAN Number
- Confirm Your PAN Number
- PPO/Discharge Number (for Ex-Servicemen)
- Username
- Email Address
- Password and Confirm Password
- Mobile Number (for OTP)
- Checkbox to agree to the terms and conditions
- Captcha
- Submit Application Form
Step 5: After submitting the application form, you will receive a notification on your mobile phone and email. If there are any errors, you will be notified via phone and email to correct the mistakes and resubmit the application form.
Step 6: Once the application form is approved by the CSD AFD Team, an approval message will be sent to your phone and email. You can log in using your username and password with the assistance of an OTP.
