How is CSD able to sell Skoda vehicles at prices lower than those found in the open market?
All variants of Skoda cars are available to CSD customers at lower prices compared to the open market. The Government of India has implemented a 50% exemption on GST for Defence Personnel purchasing from CSD canteens. Consequently, Skoda cars are priced approximately 14% lower than the base price.
